Prayers Needed:

Post by Scott64A »

Dang, guys.
I am slap in the middle of pharmacology and soon to be going into cardiology in my continuing education in paramedic technology.

This is SO hard.

I am in a constant state of fight or fllight, it seems, due to the intensity of family, work, and school.

Any good thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Be sure to actually schedule some regular "down" time, and be sure you take it, come hell or high water.

You have my prayers and thoughts; as someone who became a police officer at 42, I can identify with the stresses you must be feeling. Three words come to mind: "Never give up!"

I have trained my share of apprentices in my trade (refrigeration) and at first big equipment with lots of complex controls valves etc seem intimedating but with time and practice it all works itself out. I'm not trying to say my trade as complex as your choice, (it's not) but with time and good patient teachers, it will become second nature. Hang in there and keep your stick on the ice. We are all pulling for you. PS Prayers sent just in case, can't hurt.

Scott64A;
Prayers have been said - and more will be coming.

Might I suggest you begin every day with prayers of your own? Pray for guidance, and seek guidance from God's Holy Word.

Grace and Peace.

Scott...I prayed that the Lord would teach you how to balance the three. And, that he would remind you of the answers when you go into test.

Don't worry Pard...HE WILL help you out.

You've got my prayers, Scott. Keep up the good work. I remember being freaked out by EMT practicals, but I just remember the fun I had in class and the relief when I had completed it.

Scott,

You can do it. Stay focused, and just think that as the tasks get harder, you're going to push harder because you're a man with big shoulders - God made you that way. You can't be beat. You can quit, but if you choose to fight, you can't be beat.

Scott,
I'll put you on my list. My wife is an RN so I know there's a lot to learn. If there's anything we can do or questions you need answered I'm only an e-mail away, feel free any time.

Might I also suggest along with your prayers reading a chapter out of the book of Proverbs every day. Just read the chapter that corresponds with the day's date. 31 days in the month and 31 chapters in the book, cool how that works out ain't it. Must be a coincidence. It will help you keep things in the proper perspective.

Above all things get wisdom,

Rusty <><
