OT- End of N. Deer Season in TX - Celebratory Hunt

No deer on this last day but we hunted hard. RKrodle and CRS put in a lot of days and time. Ricky should be commended for passing on a little yearling that he could have easily had. I ended up with a 5pt during bow season and a 9pt for gun season. CRS got his grandson out several times - you can't put a price on that. We took two big hogs while deer hunting too. Today, on the last day of deer season we declared the deer the winners and we took the classic SxS's out to cash in on the late dove season in TX. Always a day late, they were dozens just 3 days ago. This afternoon we had a dozen opportunities and took a threesome. (two more weeks of S. season may yield another deer yet).
