Moving this to Classifieds

Unfired. 1894-1994 anniversary. Round barrel. 30-30. One scuff on the barrel from someone's safe.

'round here $350-$375 will get a buyer. More will get lookers but a buyer would take some time, even though it would happen at $400 eventually. I think you're in the right range.

I'm no expert on the price of 94's, but if it was 350-380.00, as Joe suggested, I would be thinking about picking that up. :) Nice wood on there too, and you can use the centennial marking as a selling point. "They'll never make that again...... " And it'll be true!

Tycer,

That is not an unreasonable expectation. Your estimate is quite fair. With the soaring prices of old, and new, Winchesters, you could ask for $650.00, and let them "talk you down" to $500.00. ...just a thought, as I really do not know what your rifle is worth. I know that I would pay, at most, $300.00-to-$350.00. Someone else might want that "100-Year" commemerative you you have, and pay more for it.

Good luck tomorrow.

That sounds about right. When you think about it, what does $400 buy today? For me, its about 2 months worth of electricity. I would ask for 4 and a quarter and say the price is negotiable-----------Sixgun

p.s--Someone here ought to pick up on that.

I would ask $495, because that's a lot cheaper than $500  - and let a serious buyer (not one who just shot me a lowball w/o looking at the gun) dicker it down maybe by $25-$50.

You're probably already at the show, by the time I saw your post - so let us know how you made out.

If it went fast, then you priced it too low.

Instead of selling it you could always donate it to a good cause. And it just so happens I know a few good causes. Just send it on down to me and I'll see that it goes to deserving person. :D

Tycer, from what I've seen at the local gun shows, and shops, that's a good price. Someone should snap it up quickly, Good luck.

Your price is more than fair. Actually it is low. It will sell. Did you receive the chamber hone? What revover got the treatment? That hone cleaned up a new Redhawk nicely. 1886.

about $ 400-475 would be about right... except here in OK city. I went to the show last week and the locals think guns are made of gold around here.

Question: do the folks put prices on gunshow inventory in your area?
I noted in OKC no one puts prices on their wares? I'd like to know what the baseline is to haggle from.

Nice caribine... by the way.
