1979 Browning B92 MSRP

I recently picked up a Browning B 92 SRC Centennial model .44 mag. circa 1978. Along with the gun came an old Guns & Ammo article from July 1979. Good article but what floored me was the MSRP. Now hold on to your hair, $219.95. Old Days by Chicago keeps playing in my head. 1886.

I think I paid $175 new for mine in ~1980

According to an online inflation calculator, 219.95 in 1979 dollars woorks out to $636.76 in 2007 dollars.
