94AE, stainless, half-mag with black synth pistol grip stock... which model is this? very sweet looking rifle...even if it is a little reminiscent of a new BLR

I don't think Winchester ever made a stainless 94. They did make a few AE commemoritives in nickel and brushed nickel, though.

Sounds like the "worst of all possible features" Model...
Maybe I could live with the stainless part...

Re: win 94AE, stainless, half-mag model?
It sounds like a Black Shadow except for the stainless part.
Re: win 94AE, stainless, half-mag model?
Yup!
The Black Shadow is the piece. After seeing that I kept digging and found they did a run of 2000 pcs in 1999 in brushed chrome (???)
Thanks for the help!

Sounds like a Puke-er to me, too, but if it shoots well, maybe I could also live with the stainless part as long as the iron sights are not stainless too. Only thing uglier could be if it also had a stainless scope mounted on it.Buck Elliott wrote:Sounds like the "worst of all possible features" Model...
