Puzzle Four Field Test

Post by 20cows »

I took it for a spin today with some others. Though the temp was great there was a bit of wind and it may have spread the group a little.

I decided to try it with the most precise sights I could for this outing and used a Williams FP with a small aperture.

The group measured 2 3/16" using elbows on the bench. I bet my nephew can beat that.

Notice where I had to put the point of aim to hit the paper at 50 yards! This is with the Williams sight pretty much bottomed out and what looks like the original factory front sight (it shot high with the factory style rear as well).

I need to play with more sights, but I think we have a winner! :D

That is great. I was thinking of you earlier today when I spotted a bbl 94ae action on gunbroker. Your nephew is gonna get years of fun with that shooter.
