While I was searching the Internet, I somehow got off on a tangent that lead me to Bannerman's Castle. I had read of the old Bannerman's Catalog, but I had no idea about the Bannerman story. Many of you probably already know what I am talking about. ...but, I feel that many, like me, do not know much about these things.
Navy Arms has revamped its Web site, and they will begin featuring some historical information about Val Forget, Jr., and Navy Arms. Here is an article about one Summer in the 1950s, during which Val's friend spent some time on Pollepel/ Bannerman's Island:
