OT- I hope 2008 is a Better Year For You

Post by GANJIRO »

2007 was the very worse year of my 48 years here on earth, and I know it was the same for many others here. Here's wishing you all a much better year in 2008, and thanking all those here who have help start off 2008 on a very positive note. Thank you Brothers.

Thanks - It already is ! My green-eyed monster & I spent the New Year's Eve celebration at the nearby Foxwoods Indian casino, where we had a nice dinner with some friends & relatives, then came away winners !

No new gun though - I already promised her we could get a new car with the windfall.

I hope all of you have a GREAT 2008 ! (Hmmmm.... I'm a poet, but don't know it. ;) )

Pete:

I am glad that you won something. Most people seem to go out of that place much poorer.

ganjiro, I hope and pray that your 2008 is richly blessed and soothes the ill memories of 2007. Blessings

Thanks, and - Yep - We've paid for more than a few of the mirrors they have down there!

Payback was long overdue - heck, I prolly still didn't come out ahead, over the years, considering.

They don't build those places with the money from the winners, ya know ! ;)

Ganjiro,

I hope you're doing better.

A caring person told my wife and I "It never goes away, you just learn to live with it."

I'm trying to learn.

I wish I could help you. Life gives us burdens that no one else can carry; you and I bear such burdens. At best, we can call out to each other across the water, try to share the pain, and ease the pain.

Any time you want to talk, I'm here. This is an unexpected brotherhood, one I wish we could have found some other way.

Mahalo.

Ji & Homefront -

I'm hoping 2008 turns out to be wonderful for you both and your families - everyone else here to boot! 2007 can't be erased, but I'm hoping the new year brings with it new hope and joy that eases the pain that 2007 brought.

Hope it is a good new start also.2001-2007 hasn't really been all that good, except for my daughter being born, the best thing that has ever happened in my life.Other than my daughter and being able to enjoy and watch her grow,it seems like I've had a string of bad luck.Hope that will all change.Hope everyone here has a Happy and healthy New Year.

Aloha Charley, Everytime I think I had it bad I think of you and what you continue to go through I pray to GOD to give you and your family strength and peace, but also to thank him for the blessings of my two sons who are wonderful, totally trouble free, and God fearing young men. I know being released by lying cheating employers has to be a blessing, and also know my parents are in good hands as is your son even though I miss them terribly. Your strength has been mine and I thank you for this.
I look forward to 2008 and time spent with my brothers here online as well as face to face. This forum has been a blessing and I thank each one of you forum members for this, and for all your support. Have a great new year.
