Christmas Present with lever

Post by moodyholler »

Fat man in Red Suit brought this hunk o' iron by the house house and left it. Came with MVA longrange rear tang, MVA level front globe, 100 sticks of new brass, loaded ammo, Lyman dies, bore brushes, blow tube, cartridge blocks, and did I mention it IS a 50-90? C Sharps 32" heavy barrel, upgraded wood, pistol grip stock, shotgun butt 74. If a 45-70 rings my bell, what will this puppy do? It belonged to my friend, Ole Tye, who passed to the yonder in June, and I had been trying to get my hands on it, and someone bought it out from under me. Then it turned up under the tree this morning. Merry Christmas to all, moodyholler

You must have been good this year!

That must weigh enough to neutralize any amount of recoil. Have fun with it.

Keep me informed if you're able to find a transfer FFL or if your still interested in the 37.

Merry Christmas

I have always felt I was good enough to get a gift like that. Nobody else feels that way, but I sure do.

Thanks all!!! Shawn, where in the world is Arnett, WV? I was raised in Alderson, WV and still have a farm there. As for being that good, I have given about 15K in jewelry over the last 12 years for that rifle. Seems like a fair deal to someone, I guess. I do intend to enjoy it a bunch. Not sure if I have have ever seen jewelry knock down a Ram at 500 meters before, but I have been known to drink a bit while setting targets at the local matches to dull the pain of setting steel animals up over and over and over........ well ya'll get the picture. Anyway, just whine alot about Sharps rifles, print out the brochures, put it up as a screen saver, and above all, if one comes for sale locally, let em know when. All for now, moodyholler
