Prayer Request

Post by Rusty »

Rusty Jr. has had some kind of allergic reaction to some dust that he got into and it seems to have gone right to his chest. He's feeling pretty bad and is scared, since his mother is a nurse he hears all the worst case situations. He asked me to post this for him.

Thanks,
If you're gonna be stupid ya gotta be tough-

Prayers said. You never know what's in dust. I watch out for walnut dust myself...

Oh Lord, please protect and guide Rusty Jr. through this and all other issues, health or otherwise, that he or any other of the Levergun forum may experience in their lives, at any time, but especially now, when we remember and honor the time when You sent Your only Son, Jesus Christ to earth to be the Savior of all mankind. In Jesus' name, amen.

How old is your dear son Rusty (if thats ok)?

I got real bad chest infection once when I had to weld pipe in a large city building (London, what a dump). It turned out it was all the fibreglass dust from insulation we disturbed, not good!
Has your son been in touch with something like that?

Blessings for him ASAP

Actually Nath, he 20 years old but he's feeling like a 7 year old this morning, all puny and weak.

I had something similar happen to me several years ago when I inhaled a piece of a shredded wheat cracker. I know this sounds silly but he was cleaning some things out from a dusty area and inhaled a bunch of dust.

Rusty,

Had there been any mice in this area? The odor of mice leavings makes me have breathing problems. And of course there's the potential of the Hanta Virus. So do be careful with him.
Keep us posted, OK.

On the list . . .

I have allergy-induced asthma and can relate to how Jr. feels. Not fun.

Do the 100-yd dash, then try to breathe through a soda straw. That's what it's like.

More prayers up.

Might as well face it, you're addicted to guns . . .

Done. Y2K woke up this morning feeling bad, and then got sick. He's been throwing up off and on all day today. My wife has the same thing. Nasty stomach virus was going around his school, and my wife spent all day there Thursday and Friday helping out. I hope my daughter and I are spared!
