POLITICS House limits constituent e-mails to prevent crash

You know what to do.

“The House of Representatives is currently experiencing an extraordinarily high amount of e-mail traffic. The Write Your Representative function is therefore intermittently available. While we realize communicating to your Members of Congress is critical, we suggest attempting to do so at a later time, when demand is not so high. System engineers are working to resolve this issue and we appreciate your patience.”

Forget that, Eternal Vigilance! Keep them scared and worried. THEY SERVE US!! Kinda cool to see the Republic snorting and waking up, stay awake!

i.e. - many don't want to hear further how unpopular this bail-out fiasco is, so stop calling, writing and e-mailing until after it is too late.

Darn people think this is a representative republic. How dare the peons!
