Pricey ... but.

Very nice.

So, I know very little about the different grades of 9422's. Over 20 years ago, I bought my wife a 9422. It is very nice, good wood, nice color case and checkering---not as nice as the Turnbull, but not a long ways off either. Anyway, some of the factory ones must have been pretty nice judging by the one I bought.

It's one I always enjoy shooting----when she lets me...HA!

Mine is no Turnbull and it doesn't have a color cased receiver but I find the factory laminated stock very attractive. The laminations are so thin that the checkering goes through the first layer.

Didn't they call those Win-Tuff stocks. Nice guns. I think they were from the mid-90's.

Nice looking gun but if I bought that my wife would be making two appointments one for a psychiatrist for me and a divorce lawyer for her

Wow and I thought the first 9422M I bought was fancy just because it had checkering... :)

I was hoping that new Ranger was going to be steel framed, sadly it's aluminum. That Marlin 39 will have to suffice :D

Marlin 39 is a fine gun. My 1892 above is walnut as well!
