Might be worse to be on the receiving end of that than many 'modern' weapons.

Best use of that here in Canada would be to throw Trudeau into an enemy country as he would surely screw that country up in short order as bad as he has screwed up Canada lol

One thing to remember, most of your country voted for Trudeau. The same cannot be said here.
But in any country, once despots take control they are difficult to dislodge.

Trudeau got a minority government last election and is only in power because he is being propped up by another crooked party as a coalition government .He hasn’t been popular for years as he is an embarrassing buffoon and is currently heckled and booed wherever he goes.He is so bad even his airhead wife has left him.One thing you are right on is he is a despot ruler.Thankfully he will not survive another election

Was always tempted to build one just to sling dog doo over the fence of my AH neighbor, aiming for his pool of course!

As I understand it, a trebuchet is one type of catapult.

Counterweight is the energy source for a trebuchet. Catapult uses twisted cord or other such for the rotational 'spring'.

If you look at Wikipedia under catapult, they list different types of catapults. One of them is the trebuchet.
