Burnet County got a load of blowing sideways rain. Running water where it should not ought to be running according to one report I saw . . . Good time to NOT BE DRIVING AROUND . . .

One year I had to use the BCS (two-wheel walk-behind tractor) and it’s sickle-bar to mow part of our yard cuz it was always under 4-6” of water.

We have had maybe three inches in the past month -- nothing like down your way, Jim.

Saw a video clip from someone there. It's a normal thing in SE Alaska, but this time the moisture is stacking in from the other Gulf.

When I visited Burnet a year ago looking for traces of my great-great grandfather murdered near there in 1855, one thing was made clear. It is pronounced "BURN-it, DURN-it." 8)
