Brass Frame Puma 92

Post by Lobo »

Hey Guys,

A buddy of mine has a brass frame Puma 92 in 45 Colt. Is this the same frame they use to build their 454 Casull rifles on?? How stout a load will this rifle handle??

I've called Legacy about their brass-framed guns before. They said stick with standard-pressure loads with the brass-framed guns.

No it is NOT the same frame, it is BRASS. As noted, stick with STANDARD pressure ammunition.
Sincerely,

Hobie

Lobo,

The Puma .454 Casulls have a specially treated STEEL receiver. NOT brass.

As edward young and Hobie stated stick with standard pressure loads ONLY in the brass framed rifles.
