A rossi 92 in 44 mag followed me home
Not much I could do about it, it liked me I guess. Stainless 20", cycles 44 mag and specials. I let go one my 357 rossis and a spare 357 barrel I had to fund it. Now to get a rail mounted and a flashlight with remote pressure switch cabled tied under the mag tube so it fits in with my other classy guns. This all happened because I renewed interest in the calibre researching brass for a buddy. 44's are a transmissable disease evidently. Will post pics once its bubbafied,

Good deal Mick, I'm looking at the 20" blue version. I've had them in 357 and 45 Colt, but never a 44 Mag. I'll be interested in how it shoots and works out for you.

.
This is a bubba-ized 357 Marlin not a Rossi, but has become my gran-n-go gun...
It meets my needs perfectly (light, accurate, mid-power, weatherproof, night-capable, quiet/suppress able)

Thanks fellas. Doc your guns were an inspiration to me early on these forums.
I had fooled about looking at different calibres for a while. 357 did most of the work I needed, I only run 2-3 guns in my safe and found it hard to let go a 357 several times. This time once I had the 44 in my possession a great peace descended on me. It must have been the right decision.

I love their 20" carbines but man do I wish they'd tighten up the twist rate. Had a 16" Winchester and for me, it just seemed too short.
Re: A rossi 92 in 44 mag followed me home
Good score, I'd jump on a stainless 20 in a heartbeat myself.

Sounds like it is already making you happy. Good job.

Hill People Gear has a great light mount for lever guns but sadly they have been out of stock for almost year with no "in stock" date available.
