So only 22s which have minimal gas spitting anyway? I don’t see the point unless someone wishes to suppress a revolver. Seems like it would have to be removed to load and unload the gun.

I've spent money on sillier things, and I guess cool things get invented once in awhile when people are playing around with stuff like this.
It reminds me of the fancy trigger add-ons that would make semi-automatics fire faster. Sort of useless but fun to play with.
(... though I got to admit I really would like to have gotten one of those tripod and trigger Gatling gun kits that you would mount two Ruger 10/22s in. It just seems like something you'd have to have sticking out of your upstairs window overlooking the garden for rabbit patrol... )

It aids concealability too, with that C clamp on it I could throw it in my tool box and nobody would ever know. At the range I could just mount a vise on my bench and have a dual purpose devise; a clamp for the seal and a "Ranson" rest for the revolver. Someone must have really spent a lot of time digging to come up with a question that needed this answer.
