Welcome to the Leverguns.Com General Discussions Forum. This is a high-class place so act respectable. We discuss most anything here other than politics... politely.
Please post political post in the new Politics forum.
Next week (May 26 to 31 - approx.) at some point this forum will go down for a backup and a software update. We've been playing around a bit with it and as soon as I'm comfortable with the update process we'll give it a try. This will probably take the better part of a day - so if you find a "forum down" or nothing at all or anything else out of the ordinary - don't panic. We'll be back - eventually.
Just want everyone to have a "heads up!"
Please BTT this like we did on the last couple such so everyone gets a chance to hear 'bout it before it happens...
Thanks guys!

Yeah, I could just see you prostrate on the floor hyperventilating and maybe hemorrhaging through the nostrils should you drop over and find it GONE!!! or in some state of disrepair. I couldn't have that on my conscience now, could I???

It could happen - or apparently the doctor's think so. I "flunked" my physical today, due to high blood pressure. Really high. Really really high. I need to figure out what to do. Due to a car accident 20+ years ago - and the resulting damage to my liver - I can not take a lot of medication, as most interacts with the liver. Oh well, at least I have the forum to keep me calmed down!!!

About four years ago I walked out of the doctor's office with a month's supply of little tiny pills. I walked home, set them on the night stand and never took the first one. I made the decision to change the way I reacted to life in general. I need to work on the physical side more, got off track last year and need to get back on track again, but my main problem was how I faced pressure and problems. By changing my attitude I changed my health as well. My blood pressure's normal now - because I decided life wasn't worth killing myself over. I'm not saying "don't take your medication" but I AM saying that it's worth spending a bit of time to reflect on the important things and how we face them...
Like hijacking my own thread - it ain't worth raising my blood pressure over....

The reason I ask is, the Colt forums were
down for maintenance for a day or two
and all there links changed.
It shouldn't. But I wouldn't bet on it either. In other words, I'm not certain - but there's only one way to find out.
Also, I've lost my office glasses which is slowing me down. Hopefully it won't affect this - but only time will tell... four days on the proposed calender to go - has anyone seen my head? Must be with my glasses...
