Hello... again...wait, where am I?
Hello lever lovers!
After much brow beating and haranguing by a few folks I am stopping back by. Hope you all have been well in my absence.
Bit of catch up on me. I retired from the Corps in 2016 and we are back in SoCal. The oldest joined Our beloved Corps and is married and busy with our first grand son. The youngest is waiting to go to hopefully go to Boot Camp and spends to much time on video games lol.
Me, well I have successfully forgotten how to shave lol and still go shooting when I can.
Here is a short clip from this past weekend.

Welcome back; condolences for having to deal with California gun laws.
Glad to hear life going well.

Keep thinkin' that. It's good to embrace one's illusions! Wish y'all were closer, stay safe, warm, and don't let the natives infect you!

His kid did join the Navy. When ever I want to get a rise out of my two boys I just ask them to which department does the USMC belong.
When they start trying to tell me they aren’t Navy I just tell them that they are just like the coasties. Works every time.
J, is your kid a Hollywood Marine like mine? Wish him well I toss up a prayer for him.

Re: Hello... again...wait, where am I?
It was at the Lytel Creek Shooting range. I have never been there, but its only 40 minutes from JR's home. We had a nice long conversation last night, we are thinking about a shooting event at the Angeles Range. -Tutt

Hey there Jeremy:
Great to see you makin' some smoke again Gunny.
Glad to hear the boys are both doing well, and I hope Dee is great too.
I'll connect with you if I get out your way should they ever let me travel for work again -- farther than "from my office, to the head, to the bed" (tough commute).
If that beard ever gets itchy, wash it daily with Neutragena Glycerine Soap; it works great, and you can even skip a day or two; but when used regularly -- NO itch!
For those who were (or maybe weren't?) around back when we undertook Project Sword for you, here's how looked on this forum when clean shaven many years ago...
Cheers!

Re: Hello... again...wait, where am I?
The sword is even MORE impressive in real life -- just like Jeremy.
I got to see it on St. Pattys Day at Jeremy's base housing at Camp Pendleton back in 2009 (I think it was), after a great dinner with he and his family. The craftsmanship on that German-made NCO sword is really impressive, and if you recall, we had it engraved with "JREED" too.

Yep I still pull it down once a month and give it a clean. It is a beautiful gift.
