Railway Express Agency Colt

Yes, I got a Colt Police Positive 38 S&W. Real nice shape. While looking it over real good I saw light stamping of something. Turned out to be Railway Express Agency. As I read up on it , it turn out all the agents carried. I think mine is from '29. For Christmas the wife found be an original matching holster.

That's cool! I love stuff with a little history to it. The .38 S&W is a fun cartridge to shoot too..

My Dad worked for REA from the early 60"s to when they went out in the early 70's .

I'm not a Colt fan but I always love a good story. This one is really good. Thanks for sharing. BTW the reason I don't like Colts is because they don't seem to fit my hand, nothing personal.
