Is reloading classed with guns?? I like to shoot one of my bows once in a while, not able to shoot enough to hunt due to old worn out shoulder. I do a little leather work from time to time, gun belts holsters, and knife sheaths. My wife and I like to spend time in the kitchen cooking and baking old and new recipes. And I do like time to read and study my old King James Bible. Most of the leather work I give away to grandkids and kinfolks.

I am still hunting.
Last week pheasants with grandson.
Next weekend turkeys with grandson.
Following Saturday, hogs with buddies.
Then to long range rifle range with son to test his new Rem Magpul 6.5 Creedmore
Then to help grandson put adult size stock on his .7mm-08 for fall mule deer hunt.
Then teaching granddaughter to shoot shotgun
Then back to range to test .405 for early June Canadian bear hunt + fishing.
Then mowing and spraying horse pastures.
The road goes on forever and the party never ends!
You think I am in a rut?

Not a 'car guy' but if I'm not shooting or reading about guns, I'm reading history, listening to music, or gardening, or doing wildlife plantings. Getting rid of invasive plant species too, now that my son got edjumikated on that stuff.
Doctors for Sensible Gun Laws "first do no harm" - gun control LAWS lead to far more deaths than 'easy access' ever could.

Wife and I belong to a local Jeep club. Do a fair amount of wheeling with them. Love to get out and see new trails and country.
We ride the old Harley too. Either head down to the coast or ride the Mountains.
I like to work and hunt with my dad and sons on our land. Lots of good times there.
We also take fishing trips up to the Allagash. Always a fun adventure.
I count myself very lucky.

Beyond guns I enjoy building cars. Mostly hotrods for myself or friends. I keep it limited for others, as time doesn't allow me enough to do much beyond my own. I also collect a lot of gun related items like old loading tools, telescopes, and gun accessories. Some old ammo also, but try to limit that to one brand, and mostly for guns I own.
1966 mustang coupe with a cleveland( yes you can make it fit sorta), with a full frame, two stages of N2O, and 19.5 Mickey Thompsons out back. My everyday car is a 09 mustang GT with a kittle work done to it. For the last 6 plus weeks my other hobby has been HEALING. Got my PICC pulled Friday night, no more IV antibiotics. Now in a waiting game to see if the infectioncomes back.
a Pennsylvanian who has been accused of clinging to my religion and my guns......Good assessment skills.
Let's put it this way...if guns and everything related to it somehow disappeared....hunting, reloading, casting...etc.....I would most likely revert to one of my previous passions......drinking.... ---6
I had old cars...68 Firebird, 69 Camaro.....and they sucked up more money than a city of democrats.
We have...or have had about every kind of farm animal known......these, I like better than people...fully half of my pension money goes to them.
On another note, I found this in the back corner of the basement....I like this stuff too. ---6

Went through and replaced parts on an ond model 1950 Poulan 14 inch chain saw today, adjusted the carb on an Echo chain saw, changed the oil in my car. Didn't have time to do much.

Well, I have 5 tractors and 4 of them run. My hotrod pickup. Motorcycles and fishin'. I'll settle for any kind of fishin but prefer flyfishing from my boat on a lake. Believe it or not but there are 7 good lakes really close to me here in NE Okla. There are even a couple of places to catch trout but mostly I go for crappie, bass and perch. Good catfishin here too. I even have 115 acres to take care of and my fences are in terrible shape. Just keeping this old body functioning has become a challenge too. Plus we are trying to raise 3 grandchildren. 16,12 and 8.

I reckon that I forgot to add that since our first child was born in May 1961 we have had kids in the house. We raised four of our own three girls and then a boy. Before the boy was gone to the Marines we got a day old baby boy grandson. In 1988 we got another grandson two months old. the first grandson is 34 and a doctor in North Carolina, the 29 year old was married one year and he is still home, praise the Lord for that. He has taken up the slack I left with this old worn out heart. Now we have a 24 year old grandson and a 17 year old grandson. these two have a need for a parent up bring they didn't get at home. Reckon that is why the LORD has kept both of us here for awhile yet, it is hard but we know it's what God wants us to do. I think about the rest of ya'll doing the same.

My grandson got a train set for Christmas and that has grown into quite a hobby for both of us. His dad Is overseas in Kabul so I decided to keep it here. I Had an old table in the garage so I put it on that. After a while grandson told me we needed more track to make it bigger. (He is three but thinks like he is thirteen) So I got a 4x8 piece of ply wood and put it on that. Then he wanted the Polar Express train and I got that. It has now grown into 3 loops and 3 trains running. Basically he tells me what he wants and I get it. We now have a downtown, a farm, roads and cars etc. An example of his thinking is I got a building that simulates being on fire with LEDs. He told me that was nice but we needed a fire truck. Then he thought he needed his house in the layout. I was able to find a model that was very close. His mom drives a silver suv so I found a model that was close in silver and put it in the driveway. He proceed to tell me the house was okay but that was not his moms car as hers did not have a wheel on the back! While not as expensive as buying guns, I have managed to spend almost a grand on this so it is not cheap. But we are having fun together and at my age that is priceless. I told my wife last year that I was feeling guilty because I felt a stronger love for our grandson than even our son. She told me not to worry she felt the same way. We discussed it and decided that the knowledge that we don't have that many years left has caused the stronger emotion. God Bless.

TRUISM: if guns are outlawed, only outlaws will have guns. So, my advice is: Buy more guns!
I shoot guns
I cast bullets for guns
I reload for guns
After that,
I've got almost enough time to earn the money, so I can do it all again.
Just got back last night from a trip 240 miles north, to shoot the CLAS state champs,
and in 3 weeks head off over 2000 miles east to shoot nationals.
