I don't know your situation but I know chronic pain is tough. Pain can make you seek relief anyway you can get it. My experience is that the longer I wait the harder it is to get relief. I've had to swallow my pride and seek help more than once. Sorry for the ramble, prayers up!

Thanks guys, I went to a doc Monday only to be told I need a referral to see a specialist and would be a two month wait.
Going back Monday and going to call the hospital first to see if there`s a specialist available then get the other doctor to call it in, I hope.

Prayin' for you Lenn. Is it a VA hospital you'll be going to? I have another darned UTI so went to the VA clinic that's only 5 miles from my house yesterday. They had me come back 3 times. One trip to tell them what I needed, they had me come back and pee in the jar then come back and pick up the Rx. But I got taken care of by a bunch of sweet, caring people. I hear you about the pain Bro, this new knee is the pits since I fell on it.

Maybe the prostate I don`t know, I`m not going for the CT lung scan they have me set up for Tuesday until I get to the bottom of this first, we`re getting a snow storm next few days besides.

Two months to see a urologist? We had such waits living overseas. Perhaps you can schedule one sooner in a larger city? A motel is not that expensive. Best wishes.

Thanks fellars, update, went to local doc today and she made a referral to a hospital about 30 miles away.
They called me and said it would be June or July for a appointment , then they told me I could get in at a big city in May 150 miles away.
I said no on those and now they are checking in another city and will get back to me.
Guess if things go bad I`ll have to try a ER somewhere.

Lenn, I'll be blunt. That sucks and it is a damnable indictment of the state of medical care in these United States if a man in urological pain can't be seen within 24 hours!
Now when I cool off a bit, I'll try praying for you some more. I'm not fit to attempt to get the Lord's ear right now.

Praying for you Pitchy! I know 30 years ago my Grand Father was in pain and was getting the same run around. My Dads best friend was a Dr and he stopped by and said to him lay on the floor and don't even think about getting up. Gramp said he couldn't do that and Doc said yes you will and I get you looked at today. He called a ambulance and rode with him to the ER. He got right in and answers the next day. Not sure your insurance status but it maybe worth it.
