My great grandfather didn't use a gun when he deer hunted. He used a pocket knife. He would hide behind a tree, when the deer walked by he would reach out from the tree and stick his finger up the deer's butt, when the deer turned his head to see what happened, he would reached around the other side of the tree and cut the deer's throat. He swore it worked everytime!!!!

Peters Blue Magic- those were magic alright, used to reload those by the hundreds until we found out that their life span was kinda short... those hulls would separate about half way up and turn into a slug! Slugs and trap shooting don't mix well!

I remember picking up the paper hill 12 gauge empties just after Dad or Uncle Homer had fired them when I was a little kid. The scent from a just fired paper hill shotgun shell was something that meant snow and pheasant season was just around the corner. Those new fangled plastic shells just don't seem the same. Plastic may catch on eventually.
