Awesome Pitchy,!! looks Great. We had the Kids and Grand kids over today, beer, burgers and dogs on the grill, baked beans and from scratch chocolate cake. The four Kids ran for hours at a time and We went looking for zombies back in the dark woods. I had more fun than anyone, but I'm on vacation. now they are calling for rain for at least 3 days. We need it.

The cookout and the weather and the family time sounds awesome.
I never was into watching 'sports', and with the recent political stuff infecting the NFL, that pretty much finished off any interest I had otherwise....

And I thought I had a good day. Up at 0545 left house at 0630 got to work at 0800. My boss did not finish part of the investigation number so could not finish my paperwork(which means I have to go in early tomorrow before my next investigation) left at 1300 got home at 1430 and had enough time to wax the tailgate and one side of my Superduty(always a two day job). Sooo ok YOU WIN.
But I have 5weeks vacation scheduled between November 3 and January 2. Wahooooo

It's always a great day when I wake up not breathing dirt. Cold hard rain for a couple days, though....I broke out the microwave slippers tonight.

That reminds me that I have not cooked with my Dutch oven for far too long. And I see the Vikings beat the Ravens.

Those Dutch ovens really work well, ribs in them are great.

Was thinking and had idea about your wheelbarrow! What if the whole thing was out of metal, then you'd have a movable fire pit.. I just got a Dutch oven and won't be able to use it til march. Todd/3leg

Man, your place is (almost) as close to Heaven as possible. If you can ignore the fact that you are too close to the Cities and not near enough Mountains, you have it made.
All I want is the scream of mountain lions and the bugle of elk... and at least 500mi from a City.

Well Pitchy my intention was to stay at cabin this winter and shoot, cast and reload! Am in Lake Village, AR right now on way back to Gulf Coast for the winter. Already had to deal mosquitoes and fire ants. Todd/3leg

Thanks Pitchy. made it to Biloxi with very little problems. How's the winter going so far? Hopefully I can meet up with a few friends and do some shooting. If not hopefully you'll post a video or 2 of some. Todd/3leg

Holy beer gods, is that a Grain Belt Beer?
first beer I ever tasted was a Grain Belt,
I am a few days away from being eighty so that was a long time ago.
In South Dakota.

Re: A perfect day.
Actually...
I'm surprised it took this long for someone to commercialize them. I hate hot feet, so they aren't on my radar (I sweat in jungle boots at 10*F) but if you get some oversize slippers and a couple of flat cloth bags (old socks) of rice or buckwheat hulls (there's another filler that I can't recall) and nuke them until hot, they work well as warming inserts... or do well enough for SWMBO of the Icy Feet...
