I Yam A Happy Camper

Post by Pete44ru »

.

Some here might remember that I posted a pic of the pristine Colt Frontier Scout that I stumbled across, in an LGS on consignment, last Thanksgiving week.

So far, so good - I was glad to get it.

Then, today.....................

I got a call from the same LGS, telling me to come in & pick up the box that should have gone with it - It seems the consignor forgot about the box until he tripped over it sometime this past week, and brought it into the selling funshop.

This is the same gun, now back home in it's box.

I'm just ecstatic over it, because evidently, the box is one issued by Colt with guns that have gone through the Colt Custom Shop. :o :o

I feel like I should go buy a lottery ticket....

Too bad it looks so darn good in the box, because it makes you want leave it there just to look at it.

:(

Government office attracts the power-mad, yet it's people who just want to be left alone to live life on their own terms who are considered dangerous.

History teaches that it's a small window in which people can fight back before it is too dangerous to fight back.

Thanks for all the kind words, folks !

I've been shooting it, and have found it to be much more accurate than any .22RF Ruger single action I've ever owned/shot.

(around a dozen different ones, over the years)
