Some lovely blades here, gents. Chuck, Marlinman, you guys outdid yourselves.
Grizz, I too am fond of the basic Scandinavian puukko style knives. Just got in a a group buy over at Gunboards and will have my newest one -- from Martiini in Finland -- in a few days. Will post.

glad for the report. it looks like a very serious knife without any of the t.v. mall-ninja odor. makes a guy want to winter over with the herds, in the tipis, which I am sure isn't the correct name for the peoples of the raindeer housing. there would not be many unsolveable problems with that kind of equipment. imagine a people who husband wild animals and get meat, milk, clothing, tools, and transportation. pretty smart folks IMO.new pig hunter wrote:Grizz,

I have some 1/4" 5160 that would make a reasonable facimile. but that's a post for another year I hope.

I would show some, but this site sous not allow me to put any pictures up. It tells me that the size must be 0 x 0 pixels. This happens whether I use my phone or my computer. There must be something wrong with my account.
