Marlin 1894CL 218 BEE

Post by Nicknack »

I have recently got myself a Marlin 1894CL 218 BEE but it's missing the front sight, the front sight is quite high at around .630 from bottom to top so I'm told.
Would anyone have a spare I could purchase or could put me onto one in the US?
Thanks Regards Dallas

Leave it off. I took mine of of the 218 as this rifle was for the most part designed for a scope of low magnification and the sight gets in the way of a low power scope...but......that's your call.

My Marlin 218 is affectionately call my "cat rifle" although I've only shot a wheelbarrow load of foxes and crows with it.------6

I agree with Sixgun, and have one also. Great little rifle that I need to shoot more often...

Brownells will have them if Midway doesn't. I can measure the height of mine if you need for reference.

Thanks everyone
I think I will have to get the Marbles front sight if i can't get an original, nice little rifle and cartridge. I also have one on a Martini Cadet that I have to finish, it has a .22 Green Mountain octagon barrel on it, have yet to try her out.
Can't get anymore barrels from them because of the stupid export laws, as I need a 38-55 barrel to convert my High Wall from 45-70 ( I have two )
