Eye Dr. Visit..

Post by .45colt »

Saw the Retina Dr. yesterday who did the surgery (Viterectomy) on My right eye April 26th. vision in it is back to 20/20 . He was pretty happy and proud of His work. :D . I ask Him when the eye will be totally healed? He said it is right now........ Can I shoot a rifle? shotgun? He says Yep....you can do anything you want. I sat in the chair dumbfounded. Go back to work next week. I'm Lucky to be living in todays world.

Yep - the wonders of modern medicine are truly wonderful.

For instance, my Dad passed away in 1955 @ only the age of 41, from the same issue that caused my 2002 heart attack - but today's stent technology, which would have saved his life, was unknown/unavailable back then.

Congrats! :D

My cataract surgery didn't go quite as well. I need to go back for some Lasik for up close. Frustrating because I can see far much better, but can't make out the sights on a handgun or rifle. :(
