I just can't get over how big the foxes and rabbits are over there. Easily twice to three times as large as those I've seen here.

My wife asked; what breed is Jess?

It is a co2 in .22 made by a Chinese outfit called SMK. Model cp1.
I tuned the trigger that's all.
It gives 40+ shots around 5.5ft/lbs.

Easy to shoot.

Beaver forend non ejector, 26" barrel, half choke, 3" chamber. I swopped a beat up Mossy 500 for it.

Awesome hunting pictures. The suburbs are crawling with Arctic Hare here in Calgary but they a few and far between in the woods.

Great photos and hunting. This has probably already been discussed earlier, but I have a question for you. What are your methods of hunting foxes? I suspect most of us on this forum have done some predator hunting, but I don't believe I have run into anyone that has the success on fox that you do. Just curious.

Thanks Nath. I really like the gate post picture. You make that single barrel look quite elegant. Nothing like the cheap crappy one I keep for a turkey gun. It just has a 3 1/2" chamber and a 30" barrel to squeeze the shot string way down.

Good to see Jess is working out for you.

My wife got her a new puppy, 1/4 Blue Heeler, 1/4 Red Heeler and 1/2 Australian Shepard. Should make a great cow dog, if I had any cows.

I just frequent places regular and look for fresh scat.
Some locals tell me what's about if they see it.

Pheasant give an alarm call when they see one.
I sit and wait, call, bait and just get lucky alot.

What do you do with the fox pelts?? Do you save them?? Is there a market for them ??
By now you must have collected enough to make just about anything in fox fur you wanted to, or a tidy sum for them.

No sir, you may be confusing the shotgun with the other photos which are of a rifle.

I did recently sell a fully moderated shotgun though!

I had a 2240 a few years ago but I struggled with it.

This one is much better in my opinion!

The pistol I recently got I have now improved the trigger and added a little amount of preload to the hammer and mass in the form of a ball bearing.
Shot count from 12g co2 has dropped from forty shots plus to 30 plus.
It now will penetrate a soup can with a 16grn pellet at 25 strides. Also hitting the end of a can at that distance is quite easy.
Sounds puny to you guys but in a land devoid of legal real handguns some of us just have to make do.
I have reason to believe they may be made in Spain!
