Just stopping by to say "Howdy". We are in Broken Arrow, OK. My wife had surgery the first of the month and I have been with her, helping however I can during her recovery. It has been slow but she is making progress. We are hoping to be able to return to Africa sometime in March. But however it works out we are grateful that the surgery went well .. her medical issues have been resolved and she is recovering.
Prayers up for your bride Jim. You too. Thanks for all Gods work you do. Learned to hunt on the river between Leonard and Broken Arrow out south of where Indian Springs was built. Used to shoot carp when the river was down and crows when it was up. Rabbits, ducks... Great memories.

Ok, so what if I'm poorer, more itinerant, and less of a writer than Ernest... a fellar has to have dreams!!!
As far as I am concerned I believe it still holds true. Both my wife and I feel the same as Mr. Hemingway.

You can have firearms in Mozambique. Lots of hoops to jump through but it is do-able. I don't because I am part of Iris Ministries and live on the base where the Children's Center is. There are enough people who don't like foreigners that if I .. or some other person on the base .. had a firearm it would be used against the entire organization.
