Non-traditional-looking but FUN Ruger lever action with a red dot scope. Dot just covers 75 yard 2" metal 'flip-up' targets and makes for all kinds of fun. The front end has a 'kid-proofing' device - a slip-on 'flash hider' which really is to keep dirt out of the barrel if a short kid guest is shooting the gun and forgets and touches the muzzle to the ground. (I wish all guns had them, actually, just to protect the crown.)
Of course I can hit them just as well with the Ruger Single Six, since it has such a long barrel . . . yea Right!
