We're headed to Florida where she is going to her business convention while I will try to shoot a couple of feral pigs and ship the meat back to our place.
After that we plan to swing up the Gulf Coast and into the San Antonio area.
It has been over a decade since I have been to SA and the Hill Country. I would like to have my beloved wife see more of the world and this great nation while we can.
Right now my mother has been in the hospital due to a kidney infection. It may not sound like much but being diabetic along with some other issues created a large number of problems. I debated whether to go on a long trip with her but both my parents told me that you two may not have another chance to go on such a journey together for such a length of time.
They are right. Mom said I wished I could go along and I can understand why. So I am in the planning stages and trying to get all of our ducks in a row so we can have a nice adventure of sorts.
I was thinking of the usual:
Tour the River Walk.
See the Alamo.
Have a drink at the Teddy Roosevelt bar.
Go on a vehicle safari in the Hill Country on a wildlife park.
Go out for some sushi and tofu. Ok. Just kidding.

Go hunt some varmints. I can shoot she can skin them. Wait. Just joking.

I have even entertained the thought of zipping across to the Big Bend Area but you would be surprised at how time can creep up on you. It would take a good three days to get home from that part of the world. So that part of the journey may be out of the question as well.
So. If I may ask. Any ideas? Thanks for any replies.
