How bout the Taylor's and Company 1892 lever rifle? I still got the hots for a 92 in 357 but like i said in my Browning thread, dont want a safety like the Winchesters or Rossi's or rebounding hammer like the Winchesters. I do want it to be able to shoot 38 specials though.

IIRC, Chiappa (Italy) brands those rifles for Taylor's & Co - Perhaps Nate Kiowa Jones, being a Model 1892 expert gunsmith, can chime in about them.

He replied in my Browning thread. I am hoping for someone who shoots one a lot as opposed to a pro who tells me what one can be turned into. Cause I think Mr. Nate could make one run that is missing parts! Ha!
