Blaine, do you read any Terry Pratchett?
Death is a recurring character in his books. In one, he lost his job for a while, and became a farmer for a time. A couple films were made of Pratchett books. in Hogfather, death takes over for Hogfather for the night, with odd results, as his (Deaths) granddaughter Susan gets things squared away.
Pretty offbeat stuff, but fun reading. The Hogfather film was decent on youtube.

I'm dense. I don't get it. Can someone explain what I'm seeing?

Don't worry, I saw that on FB a couple of days ago and it took me a few seconds to "get" it. I scrolled right on by wondering why in the heck that was supposed to be funny, then had to go back and look at it again.rjohns94 wrote:Duh, thanks

Switzerland being one of the best armed and trained populations this side of Israel, the Grimster might need more than a poorly balanced and over accessorized Switchblade Scythe. Yes indeed, the Swiss will not go easily into the night.

Hogfather is on youtube in bits and pieces, but its all there. Going Postal isn't there, but theres some clips, I'm wanting so see it. Some funny clips from Colour of Magic, one with Cohen (the Barbarian) and Bethan announcing their marriage.

I too had to look twice. It was the scythe blade that confused me at 1st.
30/30 Winchester: Not accurate enough fer varmints, barely adequate for small deer; BUT In a 10" to 14" barrelled pistol; is good for moose/elk to 200 yards; ground squirrels to 300 metres
