Been looking for an older 336 in 35 Rem. for a few weeks now on line and the prices are crazy for the shape they are in.
Just couldn't bring myself to pay $500 or $600 plus shipping....for a hunter, want to thank "FORDWANNABE" for reminding me about the place.
I haven't been there in years because the owner was like he hated life, couldn't stand going in there, well thought I would take a run over anyway.
So I walk in find out the owner passed a few years ago and I ask the guy if he had any older 336's in 35 Rem said he had 1 walked over and picked it up and almost passed out when I saw the price.
It's a 1969 336 35 Rem. JM hammer extension....original round sight hood and sights.......stocks not drilled for swivels.....old Bushnell 4X scope.
Beautiful wood....original bluing....hardly a mark on it.
I never get lucky like this! It's about time.....

Congrats. Very nice. I'm loving the 35rem I picked up last year. Hope you have as much enjoyment as I have.

Nice Score! You had better run out and buy your lotto tickets and hope your luck hasnt ran out yet.

Cool...!!!!
The figure on that wood is beautiful, and the metal looks nice as well.
35 Remington is a very OLD cartridge vs. the 'popular' ones, but a solid hitter, and very nice mid-range cartridge.

Nice Marlin, great price. Good thing you blacked out the serial number, otherwise I would have reported it stolen and the serial number police would have been knocking on your door first thing in the morning.
