Opinions on 9422 trapper.
I am eyeing a 9422 trapper in a local gun store. The price is $595. The gun is very clean, and includes a Bushnell 4 x28 varmit scope. I really like the 9422 and the trapper seems to be somewhat rare. While I would agree that prices for 9422's are high, this gun appears to be on the low-end for prices. Is $595 a reasonable price?
Love mine. Excellent accuracy. Easy trigger job. Good ejection.

I had one until about 15 years ago and I miss it, I never had a single reason to complain about it and in hindsight I would probably have been happier with another 9422 instead of my current Marlin which now rarely sees the outside world because I like shooting my 357 so much more.

Got two: one in .22WMR (which also cycles flawlessly with and likes .22WRF); the other in .22, and it likes anything it gets fed, from Long Rifle to Colibri (with the latter it's best to hear the thud of the bullet before pulling the trigger again. Never had one get caught in the barrel, but it doesn't cost any extra to be careful.), and they're both as accurate as I can want, with any fodder at any open-sighted distance. Super-smooth cycling and great fit and finish. You'll like it.
