I know, no pictures, but I haven't taken any yet. Anyway, I went by Cabelas last night to pick up a special order. Of course I had to pass through the used guns in the Gun Library. There was a Winchester 94 there in great condition for $349. Not a steal, but good to me. Turns out to be a 1975 model. I would put it at 90% to 95%, bluing very good condition, wood has a few scratches from handling. Bore clean and bright.
I will work on pictures!

You can never have too many Winchesters, especially 94s..

Re: New Levergun
Despite the 'pre-64' mystique (and I know there are REAL differences that matter, at least to some), the 1970's era guns I've owned have always been nice.

Re: New Levergun
Congrats on your purchase.
I think they moved away from the "stamped" parts and back toward machined parts in 1971.
So the post 64 guns are not as bad as has been advertized.
They still shoot great.

I too like this direct and true statement. I am a mere neophyte in the Winchester game. I have 3 right now:game keeper wrote:You can never have too many Winchesters, especially 94s..
Model 1894 30 WCF takedown that was my grandfathers saddle rifle, made in 1911
Canadian Centennial Rifle
Model 94
I am doing pretty well on the levergun category though. In addition to the Winchesters:
Browning BL 22
Marlin 1894 in .357
Marlin 1895 GBL
Sure do like the lever guns!
