Estate Sale Find Jesse James, Billy the Kid

Post by coydog »

Picked these up at a estate sale the other day. I cant find much info on them. They were done by Joseph Green with a 1950 date. ImageImage

Collectible prints / pictures of famous sixguns?

Government office attracts the power-mad, yet it's people who just want to be left alone to live life on their own terms who are considered dangerous.

History teaches that it's a small window in which people can fight back before it is too dangerous to fight back.

From what I've read "The Kid" used a Colt Lightning in .38 - not a Peacemaker. Of course, that is based on photos from the time. He likely owned several handguns.

Is the newsprint from the period?

Not an unattractive display.

Its not actual newsprint. It may have been copied from the real thing.

Most likely from the late 50's/60's when that Western/cowboy stuff was big. I've seen a lot of similar things.
