Very classy
Re: New muzzleloader
.
In the late 60's I had an imported (Navy Arms ? ) .45cal Wesson rifle that was a far cry from your nice Custom Renner Wesson.
I especially like the snail, around the nipple seat.

Re: New muzzleloader
That looks to be a fine rifle.
The Wesson style is very unique, something you don't see often, at least not around the rendezvous' in these parts. Not many folks go for the big .62 caliber either. It burns a whole lotta powder and lead!
I have a custom made left-hand early Hawken style fullstock flinter .62 that likes 120 grains of Goex FFg behind a 342 grain patched .610 round ball. As I have gotten older, I find myself most often taking my much lighter .54 caliber rifle.
You gonna hunt with that Wesson?

Re: New muzzleloader
Don't that style of rifling need a hole bunch of powder to shoot well? Nice looking rifle looks like it will carry well. Let us know how she shoots.
