Any body ever change a barrel on a Browning BLR ??
Or have one changed by a gunsmith.

We have one in 243. Just a regular BLR with the pistol grip maybe about 10 years old that nobody ever uses and I found 7mm-08 and 308 NOS factory barrels for $125 so thinking about a Caliber Swap.

I am sure it takes special tools so I am thinking about just giving it to a gunsmith.
Anybody have an idea of what that would cost or if its even possible to do with the proper tools ??

Thanks
