Sweet.!! What does the Dog think of all of it? As much as We dislike a long winter,it may help with the low water levels on the Mississippi. We haven't had a bad winter by ohio standards but it is dragging on.got about 5" this past Saturday. a week ago on Sunday it warmed up to 60* and then right back down. Stay Warm.
Same here in northern Wisconsin, but we love it. Makes for good skiing and snowmobiling. More on the way, today. Skis are waxed and ready to go. Bring it on!
Friend of mineused to live up your way... whenever we complain about winter down here, he drags out the old story about the Minnesota winter when everyone's septic tanks froze solid
I think I'll take the drought and wind down here any day Heck, I'd move back to AZ in a minute if it weren't for all them people living there!
I should go find a picture of one of the snow blowers they use up here at work, a few more storms and you're going to need one like it.
One of these years i`m going to strap a snow blower on the hood and drive south until someone asks what it is.
Naw i like winter, pretty snow and quiet.
I see there`s sme more snow lovers here, figured Joe would chime in saying how much he loves winter.
Don`t own a snowmobile but i reckon those that do are loving all the snow.

I wondering where this global warming thing is. At least you have trees to block the wind. Been trying to have a bonfire for the last 2 weeks, you'd swear there's a democrat convention down the road.
30/30 Winchester: Not accurate enough fer varmints, barely adequate for small deer; BUT In a 10" to 14" barrelled pistol; is good for moose/elk to 200 yards; ground squirrels to 300 metres

Yikes! That looks like an awful lot of snow for "dang near Spring". Meanwhile Oregon is having the nicest March I can remember (we normally get 31 days of cold/dry/windy or cold/wet/windy). Have had a couple nice bike rides, although snow on the backcountry passes has kept me from my favorite routes.

That same system is supposed to hit here this afternoon/night. 6" by the morning and another 6" throughout the course of tomorrow. Time to fire up the plow truck and figure out where to push it all!
Barring health, or financial disaster, I'll be looking around there this August....I haven't had a good scoot ride for two years....After your done with it, I'd like to roof that big hole your digging, and put in a swamp cooler....

We have had a very cold winter. But little snow. A couple snows that didn't stick much more than over night, and one of maybe 3" that stayed a week or so.
Most of the weather is going right over the top of us. Thankfully.
Me, like winter? Lets see, when I lived in Phoenix I said if I wanted snow I could always go to Flagstaff in the winter to see it. In maybe 40 years I went to Flag maybe two or three times. Seriously .... I can do without it.

Remember the good old days,
drive to the snow,
drive to Rocky Point & the ocean,
drive to the desert and shoot?
Yeah, I remember that. Oh BTW, is there any desert left, or has Phoenix annexed it all by now?

Now that is a VIEW to behold. Especially if you can get up to the towers on an afternoon when the sun goes down before the park closes. You can watch the cities lights coming on as it gets dark in the east while it's still daylight in the west. The valley is that huge.
Here's a shot looking north from the towers at the top of South Mountain. It was taken for me by a member of Handloads.com. Sorry I can't remember his name.

I always rode up there at night and looked at the city lights.
Took a girl up there and made out on a little ridge, when we were through car lights came on horns honked and people cheered. We were silhouetted with the moon in the background
Life was good then

I never got quite that lucky.

We've been hit pretty good this week with snow. Snow everyday this week with some ice earlier in the week. About 6 more inches last night of lake effect snow. Ahhhh...I love spring.
