Fiance's Having an Operation , and it went well !

Post by 6pt-sika »

I would appreciate any and all prayers that could be said on her behalf .

She lost her father about 2 weeks ago and about 4 days before he passed she found out she had a cyst (spelling is probably incorrect) on one of her ovaries and the doctor told her it would be best to remove them both and her uterus .

So she is about to go into surgery !

Any and all is appreciated .

Prayers up - she should do fine, especially with your TLC afterwards. 8)

Thanks again to all the thoughts prayers and kind words !

She also said to tell you all thank you as well !

Just talked with her on the phone , and she told me she felt like she wanted to upchuck . They haven't let her eat solid food for a couple days so i expect thats part of it . Hopefully she will feel better once she starts eating some today (their time is 13 hours ahead of the east coast).

Awsome news, my nephew and sister inlaw are in the Phillipines, and when ever there are health issues I worry about them more than I would if they where in North America. Praying she heals quickly.

Well I talked with her a little while ago and she says she is doing better slowly although her stomach still makes her feel sick sometimes . But she is sitting up , walking slowly and if I understood correctly she will start trying to eat some steamed rice today . All she's had otherwise was porridge . I'm not a big fan of the porridge they eat there but nutrition is nutrition .

Hopefully I'll be able to return in February :)

The hospital she had the operation at I went there in 2011 to get some meds . Seems I contracted an ameaba while I was there in my stomach . I blame it on a Thai resteraunt we ate in the second week I was there that trip !

Her/our daughter also works at this hospital . While it certainly isn't an American hospital it seems decent .

Talked with her some more early this AM and she seems to think they will release her monday around lunch time !

I am sure she will be glad to get home and I KNOW she is glad the major part of this ordeal is done and she came thru it okay .

Thanks again for all that was said or done on her behalf .
