HAPPY FALL TO YOU!!

Howdy fellers, had a little fun with the camera when I took Kayleen out this morning. We thought we'd wish you a happy fall. The leaves are pretty here in central VA now. What does the 45 Colt have to do with a bird dog? Nuttin except well this is a levergun forum not a shotgun forum. Also, I've seen such good pics by KirkD. and Nath (and others), thought I'd better put a rifle in there too. By the way, I don't claim these rival theirs!!
Feel free to add some pet pics if you like.

Also, I just received this link from a friend. If you're a older guy or gal (or anybody who likes early rock n roll) who remembers the Ventures and the song Walk Don't Run, it'll bring back memories.

My neighbors hate me cos when we get a really strong west wind the leaves from our big tree get blown across the street to their yards.
Then they get to rake them up

Thats' a wind I get that blows from the west side neighbor's yard into mine. Lotta work getting them up. Every year I ask myself, will I be able to do the job next year. So far so good, but I get slower and more "put offy" each fall.

It may not get rated a 10. It gave me a giggle though just seeing the original guys. When I was a kid (first time around that is) we boys were pretty much into hot rods, a little surfing (Florida east coast surfing) and all the music of the time including the Ventures. Great seeing them again.

Drivin' down out of North Dakota to South Carolina the last coupla days has been beautiful. I usually try to get up to New England to really get the fabulous colors in late Sept., but didn't make it this year. IN and KY have been gorgeous tho'!

Great photos! I always enjoyed the Fall ... BUT we don't have one in the Tropics. We have Two Seasons = Wet or Dry. So I appreciate the pictures.

I do not miss the ice and snow. Sixty plus years of it kind of 'burned' me out on it. But the Fall was my favorite time of the year I do believe.

Below .. sunrise over the Indian Ocean ... the location is about 5 min. walk from my front door.
