Win94ae 30-30, 3 Inch Target, 350 Yards

Post by Rifleman »

I'm finally getting this scope/rifle/load working well together.

Win94ae 30-30, 3 Inch Target, 350 Yards

Now I'm confident that I'll hit the 8 inch target, (at longish range,) a lot more often.

Indeed! I feel good just hitting the 8 inch with this rifle, but hitting the 3 inch is icing on the cake.

Thanks everyone!

I'm fairly convinced that almost every rifle is capable of that accuracy, but it's the ammo and the shooter that make it possible for the rifle to realize that potential. Good shootin'!

Nice shooting. It sure is refreshing to see a video of 30-30 long range shooting!

Good shooting! I got side tracked watching your videos. That 1903A3 that was your Uncle's is a real beauty!! the 1903 and 03A3 are my all time favorite rifles.

You've inspired me to see how I can do at 300 yards with my 30-30s. I've never tried it. Great video link, thanks!!

It is the cheapest jacketed bullet I know of; Hornady 150gr FMJ, loaded singly into the chamber.

I've shot good groups and have made great shots with this rifle. It is just a bit less precise than my bolt 30-06s; and the dope can be tricky in high winds.

Thank you!

I figure I need to be able to shoot in any condition, so I shoot in every condition Ohio can offer... except in the middle of the night. ;)

Thanks again!
