Hey Hobie, I must have been ultra-lucky in my dealings with Ajax. I ordered two pairs of buffalo polymer grips for my Old Army's. They arrived in four days and fitted as good as most brands of off-the-shelf grips. I did hear that Ruger grip frames are a little more constant in dimensions than some other makes so maybe that is a factor.

Well, I've a friend that has a bunch of grips for me to sell, many are Eagle stag, etc. I've had most of them on my guns to send pics to tire kickers and they fit whatever of that frame size that is on top of the safe stack. Ajax, a whole other story. For the price they charged, the time I waited, and they way they talked to me I was very disappointed. Some people love them. Maybe I just "smell" bad. On the other hand I've had no problems with some products many hate. Go figure.
Sincerely,
Hobie
