If you watch all three video's it looks like Magpul has came up with a couple of good inventions on the first two. I wonder what kind of torture test their AR has been thru?
I like what he said referring the AR, "We want to get these in the hands of the public."

It's just a Glock with a stock. While it's cool in a James Bond kind of way , a Glock without the stock is even smaller! (and cheaper)
And probably less likely to get you laughed at when you whip it out.
That's not really a new idea. The Mattel Toy Co. had a very similar "gun" back in the 1960's. Back during the spy-craze, James Bond, The Man From U.N.C.L.E., I Spy etc; Mattel got in the market with their own spy gadget toys. One was a large fake transistor radio that popped open just like the gun in the video to become a "sniper rifle". There was another that was a large pocket knife, with a rubber blade, that became a pistol.
I guess the boys of my era are designing the guns of their youth.
BTW the latest version of the Taser looks remarkably like the ray-guns from the 60's TV series "The Invaders".

Boy, what a mess them .45's make.
When seconds mean life or death, the police are only minutes away.
