Sorta reminds me of a Broomhandle Mauser pistol, only hasn't had time enough yet to become a 'classic'. Probably a fun toy, and I can't blame them for testing the market, because you know to survive, they can't just make "quality guns for the discerning collector" - the NEW buyers will be people who don't want the types of guns "we" want, or they'd already be buying guns.

You think that picture is ugly, you should see the real thing. They got one in at my favorite shop, and the clerks, knowing I am a levergun guy, tried to hand it to me for a look. It was so ugly there was no way I even wanted to touch it! Funny thing is, somebody bought it before the week was out!

This month's American Rifleman has an ad for them, and the guy is on a mountaintop standing by a 4-wheeler, aiming it off into the distance like at the opposite side of the mountain valley. I can only hope he's supposed to be shooting a flying bird I didn't see with a shot load.

The Circuit Judge has a rifled barrel, and as such does not meet the requirements of California law to be a short barreled shotgun. It is considered a rifle, legal in California. That is how a local shop was able to sell one.
Just don't try to buy a Judge handgun in California. That is illegal. It too has a rifled barrel, but does not meet the rifle barrel length criteria. Confusion, confusion, confusion. That is what makes California law! I would not be surprised to see them get around to banning this one too.

Steampunk!! It needs a carry handle, high tech optics, rails & mounts of assorted styles, a bipod, muzzle brake/flash supressor, a couple of hose clamps thrown in for good measure and of course black plastic stocks. I will have to agree with them that it has a "uniquely contured Monte Carlo stock" I noticed that they have shrouded the hammer so it won't snag your clothing during a fast draw and, no doubt, you could fire it while it was still in your coat pocket. How would you carry this? Sholder holster? It needs to be something you can hide under a bulky trench coat so that none of your friends can see you in public with something this ugly. I'd want to cover it with a burlap bag while shooting at the range.

I think it has a smooth bore, the ad says it comes with a rifled choke.

Some jurisdictions define the original Circuit Judge as a semiautomatic rifle because the operator only has to pull the trigger between shots. In others a revolving rifle that can be quickly converted into a handgun is illegal. This is probably aimed at those markets.
What most people call a "right" is the equivalent of a dog walking on a leash. Just because your leash is a little longer than the other dogs' does not mean you don't have a master.
The September Rifleman that came yesterday has a 2 page ad. it shows a guy shooting one with no hearing protection, I'm not going to put My ears 8" from that barrel/cylinder gap............................comes in .22/22mag,.44mag,.410/45colt,same with the lever, and in 28ga. the fibre-optic sights look to be 11/2" high. I bet a couple of hard knocks and those are busted right now. YUCK .
