My new CAS rifle
Arrived this morning.....
Uberti Burgess in 45Colt. Would have preferred 44-40 but the UK importer can't get them.
The only safety on it is a trigger block that comes on if the lever is not fully closed - I can live with that.
Action is really slick and trigger pull is around 4lb.
Nice CCH and wood to metal fit is pretty good.
It's going in at the deep end and as I have two CAS competitions this weekend so not much time to sight it in. Hopefully I can get to the range next week for some serious accuracy tests but if it shoots as pretty as it looks it's a keeper.

I be got an itch for one of those as well.I just picked up a Chiappa 1887 shotgun and would make a good mate for it but would get the round barrel version.Contras on a great gun.

That is pretty
30/30 Winchester: Not accurate enough fer varmints, barely adequate for small deer; BUT In a 10" to 14" barrelled pistol; is good for moose/elk to 200 yards; ground squirrels to 300 metres

I like it. Classic levergun lines..
Government office attracts the power-mad, yet it's people who just want to be left alone to live life on their own terms who are considered dangerous.
History teaches that it's a small window in which people can fight back before it is too dangerous to fight back.
