Want a "different" .30-30 rifle?

Post by awp101 »

Are you tired of that old Marchester .30-30 lever action? Maybe a lever action is not "old school" enough for you? Well friends, here's your answer!

If it wasn't a .30-30 and that rear stock could be whittled down to a reasonable size I'd think about it just for the "What dat?" factor at the range...

What do you think the deal is with that stock...? With the bolts, it seems like maybe it was made in two pieces, and perhaps is hollow or something for storage purposes...?

Wow. I thought that Savage/Stevens bolt was not attractive but functional rifle but this one takes my breath away.

You carry your lunch in that butt stock? Or a full carton of ammo?

Thanks for the picture.

Again. Just Wow.

I thought it was just decoration but now that you mention it, it may have been hollowed out. It's listed as a "target rifle" so the ability to add or remove weight as needed would be handy. Maybe they had two pieces of wood with grain they liked but neither was thick enough to create a butt stock on it's own?

I think they're $100 too high even if they included shipping at the current $255 price. OK, maybe $175 shipped.

Ream it to .38-55 and load it with BP...
