tang sight problem

tang sight problem

Put a Marbles tang sight on a browning 65, now the lever is really really stiff to operate? What's wrong?

How much did you torque the tang screw?

Gunsmith did it for me as Iwanted rifle checked out.Shouls I just loosen the two screws a wee bit, one at a time?

Yes. Also, there is a chance one of the screws is too long and binding something up.
